I've finally learned how to make screen caps! Yay! So as my first project, I've made about 90 screen caps from the best season finale ever .. Snow Day!

Well, today is a day of mixed feelings for me.

First, I found out that MELINDA DOOLITTLE has been eliminated from American Idol and she was my favourite! I don't know .. but is America deaf?? I mean, listen to her! She's awesome! She lights up the stage everytime she performs. Guess it wasn't her night. *sigh* I was expecting it to be a Melinda vs Jordin final. Congrats to Blake for making it to the final 2, but I think Jordin's gonna win. Vocally she's much stronger. Good luck to the both of them.

My HIGH for the day is reading all about CSI:NY's season finally SNOW DAY. Thanks to sugah66 for posting the screen caps on the M&Ms thread. I could just kiss you girl! I'm on such a high about the whole DL thing finally happening and I haven't even watched the episode! I can only watch it during the weekend, when I get back to my parents' place tomorrow night. Thank God for broadband there!

It's so freaky that I really want to live in Canada, but I'm glad that I AM living in New York.

So, I'm having an affair with my best friend (Hawkes)and the man who loves me will end up marrying me (Mac). Although I'm in love with Warwick, my current partner's Ryan (which I might add is the perfect choice). Sara is my worst enemy (I don't see why. maybe she's secretly in love with Mac that's why). Where's Danny or Flack??? :(

I wouldn't mind the Ryan bit to come true though coz he's hot! LOL

Yay! I am so glad I am not a Photoshop idiot after all. I've experimented on doing some avatars and icons and here are my results. I know they don't look like I've done much, but I am actually proud of my accomplishment.

Ok, so I've been introduced to the wonders of Photoshop CS by my brother and all I can say is that I LOVE it! Unfortunately for me though, my skills are limited to just making a picture brighter, adding the glow effect and adding simple text.

My Danny icon is made by the ever talented always_mandy from tv.com and I really love how it looks. Which brings me to ask, does anyone know how to make this using Photoshop???

So, any one know of  the 'Idiot's Guide To Photoshop Tutorials', please point to me in that direction, I'm desperate!

Since I'm just a beginner at Photoshop, I do need step-by-step tutorials. Half the tutorials I've read does not make sense to me as a lot of jargons are used.

I guess I need to do a LOT of work before I can master Photoshop CS. Back to the drawing board for me.
